Most homes were an extension of their owners. Pa and Mom’s home was functional, sturdy, with memories abounding in each crease and crack. Logan’s was new, scratched, torn and burnt by the transition of the Emergence. Maddie’s was neat, presenting normalcy in a classic cliche, yet quietly perfect for nagas to slither within. Identity was more than just your body, it applied to choices and territory too. So Exi’s home made no sense. The grey mystic was solid as a brick wall, yet her creamy sofa was so soft that Karen felt swamped. She had to grip the armrest tight to avoid sliding into the divot caused by Grant’s bulky frame. The oaf seemed at least equally confused by the pink pastel caravan interior, although his attention lingered more predictably on the six armed amazon pouring tea into delicate floral cups. “There we are. Gotta stay warm against this weather,” Exi’s voice was warm, and her violet arm chair creaked as she moved. “So, you’re handling the school paper now?

Klein was getting nervous and so was I, even though the headmaster told us who she was I was still on edge. She had the trusting presence of the people that I’ve seen from the Dragon Rider society before, but she felt different. I think the headmaster took notice of this as he sat back down and uttered something draconian. “She’s not a threat, trust me.” I slowly lowered my stance while still keeping an eye on the woman. She then decided to speak for the first time, “I’m sorry if I give off the feeling of distrust, I get that quite often whenever I come to this university. However I’m seen as a politician in the Dragon Rider Society so I can understand the disdain and nervousness that I may cause you.” With that said I realized that I had succumbed to the one thing that I hated most, ‘a bureaucrat.’ I then felt embarrassed as Klein and I sat down in a separate set of chairs to one side. At first I wasn’t too sure if we were supposed to be there at that specific moment, but I felt

It was a couple of hours later when Brodric and I finally decided to leave our dorm room. Brodric had also warned me that nobody knew where either of us had been for the past three days. He had also turned back into his human form and we were standing in the hallway when I saw Jacob and Kenna come out of their dorm room which just so happened to be across from ours. I guessed Jacob saw that I was standing on the opposite side of the hallway as he shouted, “Hey Klein, where’ve you been?!” he was walking towards Brodric and me, with Kenna following right behind. “What do you mean? I’ve still been on Campus.” I replied, giving him the truth… well the partial truth. “So what happened the other day when you had to be gurney out of your dorm room, Kenna and I have been worried sick.” Before I could get another word out, Brodric spoke, “He had a medical complication, we had to gurney him out to the Clinic in the main building. He’s been resting there since. However, today he was cleared from

Hi everyone, thanks for reading the last chapter so please mark the errors. Without more to say, let's begin the chapter. * * * * * * * * * * * That door… When I enter that door I see a beautiful world, a word that isn't possible in the earth. A green space that don't have any tree, the plains, other that have a lot of they, the forest and the last was a beautiful, well, not beautiful but was a very strange swamp, too dark, too horrible. I don't see any other biome but I was crawled to the swamp. I don't know what word come to my mind but I think that I don't forget all the Spanish words and at the same time I don't remember all the english that I need. My whole body is now at the swamp, I think that the height that I was, was 99 or 150 Mt of the swamp, but now I am falling from the sky and going directly at the center of the swamp. When I was pulled I just see the swamp, but I never see any creature that was supposed to live here, just the water. When the pull leave me alone
The jeep rumbled off down the drive, and with it, any sense of adult supervision. Karen flicked her tail where she lay, webbed ear to the floor, as the vibrations slowly died away. In part, it was comfortable down there on the thick cushy rugs. For another part, she felt almost too uneasy to move, her stomach roiling in knots of discomfort. It would be easy to attribute such discomfort to her surroundings. Logan’s home was dragon territory, it stank of the reptile’s acrid scent. Some bloodstains still lingered from the scuffle with Matt, the mage’s mind-bending uncle. The wooden balcony connecting the stairs of this two-storey lounge to the upper rooms held some claw marks, and the light fixture was still missing a couple of bulbs. But that wasn’t it. A more rational part knew this was her friend’s home, and despite only being a couple months here, the lodge felt like a home. The sofas were soft, the fire crackling cosily, the TV was nice and dim, and the shelves held
Whenever I comment i try not be mean spirit or controlling. I've had cases where I don't go to a site(for days, or months) just because I wrote a comment that someone thought was annoying. to be very truthful i would do almost anything for my friends (if one of my friends asked me to do their homework I would). In life and gaming, or even commenting I try to be as peaceful as possible.don't just harp on someone that posted a few comments that you don't like. comments are a windows into a readers mind and how they think, each view is different, and no two people are exactly the same. The main points I'm making is if someone comments don't let
